We were very concerned about the potential backups regarding the new entry/exit procedures that when into effect several days ago. But luckily in Iceland, at least for now, we whisked through the border entry process in about 2 minutes and are now waiting for our flight to Paris later this morning. Perhaps when we leave from Paris in January we will go through the registration process, but for now, we’re in!
Addendum: Hubris meets Karma and once again Hubris gets smacked in the mouth. We landed in Paris and easy peasy caught the RER train from Charles de Gaulle down to Orly where we will spend the night before flying to Seville in the morning. Once we got to Orly thing unraveled marvelously. All we had to do was catch a taxi or uber over to the hotel. So we asked a security person where we could ge a fide and he have us directions. We followed those and then signs directing us to a pickup spot. But once there we were approached by a waiting driver who offered a ride. But it was crazy expensive, like almost as much as the Uber from our house to the airport in Denver, so no thanks. I brought up the Uber app and requested a ride to the hotel and it was a third the price, much better!! But we had to go to a specific door and wait outside, not a problem. We got to that area and I brought up the app again and it then directed us to another door, which we had passed on our way from the first stop so we started back from there. We arrived at the next door, IT WAS SEALED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION. By then our driver had called us and we were talking but things were garbled and we finally ended up in an outside parking lot. He asked where we were and I described it, after looking fruitlessly for his car and him telling us he could see us I happened to look back and he was standing and waving to us. Whew, finally we linked us and he had us follow him to his car. IT WAS IN THE SAME AREA THAT WE FIRST WENT TO 😓😜. So in the end we got to the hotel, an hour or so later than planned, and I gave our driver a tip about equal to the fare over, but still less than what the first driver offered.
I walked to a Franprix marked and got us a fresh baguette, some ham, a bit of cheese, a bottle of Orngina, and a small bottle of red Boudreaux. We had a small picnic in our room before sleep.

Hopefully you didn't have massive waits with TSA on the way out of Denver either!
